Mid-scale biocemented soil columns via enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation (EICP)

Biocemented soil columns were created at a reduced scale (mid-scale) using enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation (EICP) as a prelude to field scale deployment. Approximately 0.3 m diameter × 0.75 m long columns were created using a tube-à-manchette grouting technique in 0.6 m × 0.6 m × 1.2 m boxes filled with a dry washed quarry sand. Treatment solution composition and treatment protocol, including number of cycles of treatment and time interval between cycles, were established based upon laboratory testing. The urease enzyme used in the treatment solution was extracted from jack beans in a just-in-time manner on site. The biocemented soil columns were characterized in situ using shear wave velocity, needle penetrometer and pocket penetrometer testing, dimensional measurements, and by unconfined compression strength (UCS) and carbonate content measurements on specimens recovered from the columns. The in situ measurements indicated the target UCS of 500 kPa was achieved. However, the UCS tests on recovered specimens had inconsistent results, which may be attributed to sample disturbance. Overall, the results demonstrate that EICP is a viable method for creating biocemented soil columns for ground improvement.     

Effects of rice bran fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum on palatability,volatile profiles,and antioxidant activity of brown rice noodles

Brown rice noodles (RN) are typical whole-grain products with health benefits. This study investigated the effects of rice bran fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum on palatability, volatile profiles, and antioxidant activity of brown RN. Three kinds of RN, including RN, brown RN (BRN), and bran fermented RN (BFRN), were involved in this study. The results indicated that bran fermentation reduced the cooking loss of BFRN and improved the elongation and the sensory attributes of brown RN. After fermentation, aldehydes were significantly decreased while alcohols increased, and more pleasant flavours were shown in BFRN. Fermentation increased the content of free phenolics and decreased the content of bound phenolics. Among the four major phenolics detected in this study, ferulic acid was the most abundant one in all three RN samples. The DPPH radical scavenging activity and the ferric reducing antioxidant power of free phenolics in BFRN increased significantly compared to BRN. This study proved that rice bran fermentation is an effective approach to improve palatability, enrich the flavour as well as enhance the antioxidant activity of brown RN, which may facilitate the development of processing technology for brown RN.     

基于离散单元法的群楼拆除爆破仿真模拟

基于青岛开发区一商场爆破工程,利用颗粒离散元法建立离散元网格实体模型,用多面体离散元法模拟分析拆除爆破中建筑物的倒塌过程。研发的网格实体模型详细模拟了建筑物从结构局部失稳到整体完全倒塌的整个过程,确定了爆堆轮廓线和爆堆尺寸,直观给出了爆破设计的效果。触地振动、冲击力变化分析结果表明:所给出的爆破方案可达到预期拆除爆破的效果,触地振动符合《爆破安全规程》要求;该模型可优化爆破设计,指导爆破施工,为建筑物拆除爆破的灾害预测与安全评估提供理论依据。

介绍了一种CE7120斜床身车床数控化改造的方案,包括机械部分改造和电气部分改造。改造后的数控车床在零件的加工精度及加工效率等方面都有明显的提高。

根据隔爆变压器箱壳的受力情况,对箱壳螺栓和法兰的受力进行简化分析,提出螺栓与法兰的强度计算方法和相应的改进措施。经过改进,解决了水压试验时螺栓弯曲变形大、法兰外凸变形严重的难题;同时,增加了法兰的加工余量,节省了材料,也为螺栓法兰的设计和制造提供了理论依据。

运用消失模铸造工艺取代传统的手工制模铸造 ,很好地解决了铜陵有色机械总厂铸造分厂的环境污染问题 ,并取得了很好的经济效益。车间加工成本降低了 3 77 62万元 /a ,扩大了生产规模 ,提高了产品质量 ,废品率降低了 2 %～ 10 % ,直接减少岗位定员 15 4人 ,项目投资在半年内即可收回。
